We are the data controller for the information described here. Our lawful bases are: consent for analytics cookies and marketing, contract for handling your reservation, and legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and keeping our site secure.
Booking a table
Table reservations are handled by SevenRooms, a third-party reservation platform. When you click “Book a table” you leave our website and enter your details on SevenRooms’ own booking page.
The information you give there — typically your name, email address, telephone number, party size, booking time and any notes you add, such as a birthday or a shisha request — is used to hold and confirm your table, contact you about the booking, and manage seating on the night. SevenRooms processes this data on our behalf; their own privacy notice also applies to your use of their platform.
We keep reservation records for 12 months so we can recognise returning guests and manage no-shows, after which they are deleted.
Contacting us through the website
If you send us a message through a form on this site, we receive the details you provide — usually your name, contact details and the content of your message — together with the time it was sent. We use this only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. Enquiries are kept for 12 months.
Cookies and analytics
A small number of cookies are needed for the site to work, and these are always set.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move around our website — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located, and which devices they use. This helps us improve the site. These analytics cookies are only set if you agree to them, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the restaurant and this website — our reservation platform, our website host, and our analytics provider — and only so far as they need it to provide that service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
